EUSD is proud to offer full-day Transitional Kindergarten at all 17 of our elementary schools, with enrollment ongoing for the new school year.
TK in EUSD is an exciting educational opportunity for children who turn 5 between September 2, 2022, and February 2, 2023. Spaces are available now, with convenient online enrollment through the New Student Registration 2022-2023 portal. Families are also welcome to contact their neighborhood school directly.
In addition, the EUSD Transitional Kindergarten program has space for “TK Youngsters” – children who are 4 years old and whose birth date is between February 3, 2018, and June 2, 2018.
Transitional Kindergarten is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program that offers an additional year of school to our younger students. TK bridges the path between preschool and kindergarten, and gives students the gift of time that will help them build a strong foundation for future school success. With TK, families have an additional option to ensure their children enter kindergarten with the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
