Enrichment Wheel

This year, EUSD is thrilled to have implemented an enrichment wheel at all elementary schools, as well as Quantum Academy and Limitless Academy.

The wheel consists of 26 specialty teachers distributed into 6 teams.
The intent of EUSD’s enrichment wheel is two-fold.
- First, the wheel provides students with highly engaging learning experiences in the areas of STEM, art, drama, musical theater, dance, and/or wellness.
- Second, while the wheel teachers are facilitating the enrichment learning experiences, grade level teacher teams engage in focused, purposeful collaboration and planning based on the District’s Teaching and Learning Cycle.
The wheel was rolled out early in the 2023/24 school year and has been well-received by students, teachers, and administrators.
The wheel schedule provides for all students at a school to participate in the school’s enrichment wheel classes.
