Rincon's family engagement has moved rooms and will now take place in Room 2 inside the school library. Our First English Learner Association Committee-ELAC meeting will be Thursday -9/11/2025 at 8:30 AM.

ELAC President: shall be responsible for the following tasks with the hand in hand support of the family liaison:
Advising the principal on how to improve school programs.
Lead the 4 yearly meetings.
Share with other English Learner parents the importance of regular school attendance.
District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)meetings.
ELAC Secretary-: will support with taking notes during the meeting and handing the notes to the family liaison to prep for the next meeting.

As you are cleaning out your closets as you are getting ready for back to school ?Please consider donating unwanted jeans and t-shirts (any condition) to Mrs. Fenney's cooking and crafting class.

Her class will be upcycling jeans in mending and sewing projects and creating yarn from t-shirts. These can be turned in to her mailbox or delivered to rm. 6.

Also, gather any clothing you need repaired as they will gear up for “Mending Mondays.” Students will be learning how to hem, take in, repair tears and holes, see on buttons. Please set these aside because students will be ready after Labor Day to start taking orders.
