This week EUSD's youngest learners continued to discuss important facts about butterflies.
They learned how windsocks are powered and created their own windsock to test their predictions at home. Through this art lesson children were able to problem solve, collaborate, and strengthen their fine motor skills while being creative.

Congratulations to the State Preschool 2026 Classified Employee of the Year, Ms. Rebeca Cruz Camacho. Ms. Rebeca is our wonderful paraeducator at Juniper State Preschool. She has worked to build caring and nurturing relationships with the students and consistently works with a positive and supportive attitude.

Thank you to Ms. Garcia and Ms. Medina for coming out to the Grand Festival today to help promote our program and all of the wonderful things happening in EUSD. It was also nice to catch up with one of my former Kindergarten students and see our current preschool families stop by and say hi.

We had a wonderful parent workshop with our Community Partners from Vista Hill LAC, the Escondido Public Library, Palomar HDS and the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum. We learned about all of the wonderful opportunities available to all of our families and received some goodies and discounts!
Did you know that the library is temporarily located at the Mershops in Escondido?
Did you know that there are services available for free for adult learning through the library?
The museum is a great place to learn and explore with your children!
Palomar HDS and Vista Hill LAC are wonderful resources for our families.
