Welcome to EUSD’s Special Education Department

The Special Education Department ensures that a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is provided to all students found eligible under the guidelines of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The Special Education Department is one part of a unified educational effort to provide individualized educational programming and services to ensure educational benefits for our EUSD students with special needs. Our team members are committed to working with families, educators, and community partners to that ensure each child’s Individualized Education Program is effectively meeting their needs.
