On March 14, 2019, the Escondido Union School District awarded Nigro & Nigro a three-year contract for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, through June 30, 2021, in response to the district’s Request for Proposals for External Audit Services. Nigro & Nigro examined the Escondido Union School District’s compliance with the performance requirements for the Proposition 39 Proposition E General Obligation Bond for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2019, June 30, 2020, and June 30, 2021, under the applicable provisions of Section 1(b)(3)(C) of Article XIIIA of the California Constitution and Proposition 39 as they apply to the Bonds and the net proceeds thereof. During the audit process, Independent Citizens Oversight Committee Chair was interviewed to discuss the bond program and gather community feedback.
