Strong Employee Benefit Package

Positions of 20 or more hours per week provide for enrollment into the CalPERS state pension system. The current CalPERS rate paid for enrolled employees by Escondido Union School District is equivalent to 26.68% of the employee's annual salary. This portion is paid by the district as an employee retirement benefit for its staff members.

Employee health benefits plans are available for as little as $6992 per year for classified employees working 25 or more hours per week. Click here to see more information about EUSD's health plans.

EUSD P3 Program

Are you a classified employee who wants to become a teacher one day? Work in a benefitted paraeducator position at EUSD and the district will pay the fees so you can earn your AA degree through Palomar Community College in the evenings through our Palomar Paraeducator Program (P3).

Flexible Schedules

AVID tutors support middle school students who have a desire to go to college. AVID tutors are a powerful role model, who provide both academic assistance and guidance on helpful academic habits.

Applicants must submit a current course schedule, or similar, each semester to verify student status.
