October is National Bullying Awareness Month.
At Rock Springs we teach students to be Upstanders and Stand Up Against Bullying
During the month of October students will view lessons specific to bullying awareness, what to do if they see bullying happening, and how to be an Up-stander.

Parents and Guardians of Rock Springs Transitional Kinder students are invited to attend TK Lunch & Learn September 18th at 10:40AM. Bring lunch to enjoy with your child, and learn about the importance of building a love a reading. Presentation begins at 10:40AM on Wednesday September 18th.

On Friday, September 23rd students in 1st-5th grade attended our first assembly of the year. Students were introduced to our new slogan "Rock Springs ROCKS" - Roadrunners of Character Keep Succeeding. Each day we encourage and teach our students how to demonstrate the six pillars of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship.

End of year awards ceremonies will be held May 30th & 31st for TK - 4th grade:
- Teachers will notify parents if their child will be receiving an award.
- Please limit the number of guest to 4 per family. Event will also be available through ZOOM
