Required Responsibilities: Title 1, Needs Assessment, SPSA
Train SSC members on their roles and responsibilities.
Develop and approve the school plan and all proposed expenditures.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the school’s progress toward meeting goals and raising student achievement.
Recommend the overall school plan and expenditures to the local governing board.
Provide ongoing monitoring of the implementation of the school plan and budgets/expenditures.
Obtain recommendations from other school advisory committees.
ELAC and all school advisory committees meet regularly with the SSC.
If appropriate, the SSC serves as site leadership for EIA-SCE.
The SSC has a representative on the District Advisory Committee (DAC).
Other responsibilities as applicable.
