In EUSD, every student is a music maker!
And at all five middle schools, dozens of dedicated musicians are proud members of the concert band, playing wind, brass, and percussion instruments.
Under the direction of credentialed music teachers, our students gain valuable skills as they learn to read music, play an instrument, and perform together.
We are so proud of these young musicians, who demonstrated their artistic skills on Tuesday in the professional setting of the Concert Hall at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
What's eSports all about?
In EUSD, it's more than just gaming! Our eSports enrichment program is growing strong after making its debut in the fall as part of our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. eSports has students exercising their critical thinking skills, engaging in career exploration, learning to collaborate, and more. Join EUSD health and well-being educators this evening – Wednesday, March 15 – to learn strategies that will help manage stress and support a healthy and joyful life for the entire family .
“Developing Healthy Habits" is the topic of this workshop, the latest session in the EUSD Family and Community Engagement Virtual Learning Series.

Mission Parents, Grandparents and students had a blast learning how to do better parenting! The 8 week series of workshops facilitated by Dr. Beatriz Villarreal graduated 73 participants and 25 with Perfect Attendance this past December 2022! We are so proud of you all, Congratulations!

We had a wonderful group of volunteers this month at Mission's Community Food Distribution. Thank you to all our community partners; ICNA Relief who came out and donated 100 backpacks to our families, and Universidad Popular California who also came out to donate covid test kits! Next date is September 22, 2022.
Este mes nos acompañaron varios voluntarios a la Distribución Comunitaria de Comida de Mission. Gracias a todos los socios de la comunidad como: ICNA Relief quienes estuvieron regalando 100 mochilas a nuestras familias! También Universidad Popular California estuvo obsequiando varios kits de pruebas de covid! La próxima fecha es el 22 de septiembre del 2022.
