Our awesome 7th Grade Science teacher, Mr. Zanesco, has been raising trout in his classroom for the last two months as part of the "Trout in the Classroom" program, a hands-on science program where students raise trout eggs and eventually release the young trout at Lake Wohlford. Over those two months, those trout eggs hatched, were out and on the move, and the staff and faculty had the awesome privilege and pleasure of "naming" the trout. At the end of the two months, the trout were finally ready to be released, and over Spring Break Mr. Zanesco released them into Lake Wohlford. To Swim Shady, Fin Diesel, and all the rest of the Wildcat Trout: remember to be safe, be respectful, and be responsible, and play nice with all the other fish at Lake Wohlford. 🐟 😎 🐠 🫡 🐟

Shout-Out to Mrs. Camp’s 8th grade DLP students, who are making our world a better place. Their DLP presentations were impressive, to say the least. After learning about Manifest Destiny in History, they utilized the Design Thinking Process to present prototypes on how best to address some of our community challenges, and they have the bilingual skills to communicate their passion and solutions to a much broader audience which will have a much deeper impact. 📢 Big thanks to all of the professionals who gave their time to help our DLP students prepare for their presentations including Kim Silva (Utility Environmental Program Manager for the @CityOfEscondido) and @Dane.M.White_Escondido.Mayor 🙏

#Repost @MissionMS_ASB ・・・ [Last Wednesday, March 25,] 6th Grade Wildcats celebrated their accomplishments in academics, attendance, and also celebrated those who earned their Reclassification status. One very important Wildcat earned this status, and we were so grateful his family could accept his certificate. Aiden worked hard to be Reclassified, and we will continue to remember and honor our forever friend, Aiden Torres DePaz. #OnceAWildcatAlwaysAWildcat
