Attendance Challenge
Our attendance challenge is underway! Students in grades 3rd-5th who have perfect attendance from April 20 through May 22 will earn a special meet and greet with a BMX performer! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to be rewarded for their commitment to showing up every day and giving their best effort.
26/27 Before and After School Program
The interest form for next year’s before and after school program is now open. The deadline to submit the form is May 8. Families were sent the link via email; if you did not receive it, please see the link below.

CAASPP Testing
CAASPP testing for students in grades 3 through 5 is occurring right now. To help students do their best, please ensure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time. We kindly ask families to schedule any medical or other appointments outside of school hours or after May 15, when testing ends, as it is very important for students to be present every day during testing. Thank you for your support!
School Site Council
Our School Site Council will meet on May 4 at 2:45. The School Site Council is a group of parents, staff, and community members who work together to support our school’s academic program and help decide how certain funds are used. Their collaboration ensures that our school continues to grow and meet the needs of all students. We hope you can join us.
2nd Grade Field Trip
Mrs. Sheehan, Mrs. Long and Ms. Teixeira class will be going to Jack’s Pond on May 6th. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time and wears comfortable shoes so they are ready for a fun and active day of learning.
Talent Show Tryouts
Talent Show Tryouts will take place on May 7 from 12:15-1:30. If your child signed up to participate, please ensure they are picked up promptly at dismissal time.
Kindergarten Field Trip
Our Kindergarten students will be going to the San Diego Safari Zoo on May 8th. Please make sure your child is dressed in appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes according to the weather for a full day of walking and exploring.
