Attendance Challenge
Our attendance challenge has begun! Students in grades 3rd-5th who have perfect attendance from April 20 through May 22 will earn a special meet and greet with a BMX performer! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to be rewarded for their commitment to showing up every day and giving their best effort.
26/27 Before and After School Program
The interest form for next year’s before and after school program is now open. The deadline to submit the form is May 8. Families were sent the link via email; if you did not receive it, please see the link below.

National School Lunch Hero Day
May 1st is National School Lunch Hero Day, a time to recognize and celebrate our amazing nutrition and kitchen staff. We are so grateful for their hard work each day in preparing nutritious meals, supporting our students, and helping keep our school community running smoothly. Thank you for all you do!
New Student Enrollment
New Student Enrollment for Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Special Education Preschool is open. Families enrolling a new student can complete registration using the link provided. Please note that this process is only for students who have never been enrolled at an EUSD school. If you currently have a student attending Juniper, you do not need to complete this registration.
CAASPP Testing
CAASPP testing for students in grades 3 through 5 will take place from April 27 to May 15. To help students do their best, please ensure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time. We kindly ask families to schedule any medical or other appointments outside of school hours or after May 15, when testing ends, as it is very important for students to be present every day during testing. EXPLORE Musical Performance for parents
The families of our EXPLORE After-School Enrichment Theater class are invited to the performance of Frida the Frog & the Jungle Jazz on April 29 at 6:00 PM. They have been working hard to bring this fun and exciting performance to life, and we can’t wait for you to see it! The show will take place in the VPA, so be sure to arrive on time to enjoy this fantastic production. We look forward to celebrating the students' hard work and dedication!
Every Jaguar Counts Assembly
Join us for the Every Jaguar Counts Assembly on May 1st at 8am. Families are invited to attend and support our Jaguars. We will also recognize our Student of the Month during the assembly. We look forward to celebrating our school community together.
Coffee with Cottingham
Join us for Coffee with Cottingham after our Every Jaguar Counts Assembly at 8:30. We hope to see you there!
smART Festival
Join us for the smART Festival on May 2 from 10am to 1pm at the CA Arts Center! Come celebrate creativity with student art displays, live performances, and hands-on activities for all ages. It’s a great opportunity to support our young artists and enjoy a fun-filled day with the family. We hope to see you there!
American Heart Challenge
Our Kids Heart Challenge was a success! THANK YOU for your incredible generosity and support in making our community heart healthy while helping others. YOU made a difference! 42 students joined our team, 6 families completed Finn’s Mission, and we raised $1,093 for the American Heart Association to help people with special hearts! THANK YOU!
