We’re excited to share another week full of learning, events here at Juniper! Please take a moment to read through this week’s updates so you don’t miss out on important reminders and ways to stay connected with our school community.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Some families are dropping off students along the red curb, across the street and jaywalking on Juniper St., or parking in nearby apartment and residential parking areas. Please remember that stopping on the red curb, even with hazard lights on, is illegal, and these parking areas are private property. We kindly ask that everyone respect our neighbors and their property by not parking in driveways, blocking access to homes, or moving trash cans or other items in order to park. All students being driven to school should be dropped off in the designated Drop-Off Zone inside the school parking lot. Additionally, please do not leave your vehicle parked in the red zone to walk up and pick up your student. For everyone’s safety, please use the crosswalk, which is supervised by a crossing guard. Please support and respect school staff as they assist students with drop-off and dismissal.

Clothing Donation
Our school nurse is in need of extra clothing for students who may need a change of clothes during the day. We are especially looking for new underwear, shorts, and other bottoms for boys and girls in sizes appropriate for ages 3–7. If you are able to donate, please bring items to the nurse’s office. These donations will be used for students who have accidents or unexpected spills.

St. Patrick Day
Get ready to show your school spirit and shine in green! ASB St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be on March 17. Students are encouraged to wear green to school and join in the festive fun.

National Social Worker Day
Let’s celebrate the important work of social workers! A special thank you to Mr. Arroyo, for all he does to support our students, families, and school community. From offering guidance and encouragement to helping students navigate challenges, Mr. Arroyo’s dedication and care make a big difference every day. We appreciate all that he does to help our school thrive!

Bike Rodeo
Join us for the Bike Rodeo on March 18 from 4:00 to 5:00pm! This fun event gives students a chance to practice bike safety skills and take on some exciting riding challenges. Be sure to bring your bike, scooter, and helmet!

Students will be walking to the CA Art Center to watch the Lion King Jr, on March 20th! Please make sure students are wearing comfortable clothes and shoes for walking and enjoying the show. It’s going to be a fun and exciting experience for everyone!
