Central's book fair has begun! Our librarian, Mrs. Marquez, has organized a FUN and SIMPLE way for EVERY CHILD to earn a FREE book. Your child will be bringing home a flyer explaining the book fair, so be sure to read it and start collecting sponsors.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Central Elementary! The office will open on July 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. Registration assistance is available on July 27, 28, and 29 from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in the parent liaison room (closed 12-1 for lunch). Transitional Kindergarten orientation will be August 8 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. and Kindergarten orientation will be August 8 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL is Tuesday, August 9. We are anxious to see you soon!

Second grade students have been taking their learning outdoors in so many ways! This week they solved math problems on the blacktop! Way to keep our Cheetahs engaged!


Volunteer Denae Senise led students in Mrs. Williams' third grade class in creating seascapes in the style of Romero Britto, a Brazilian artist. We see some talented students here!


Central staff and students were excited for the return of our annual Jogathon FUNdraiser. At a school-wide assembly, coordinators Theresa Hoff, Lauren Zimman, and Coach Suzuki announced a grand total of $4,568.00 collected. Proceeds from our jogathon directly benefit students and we thank all families and friends who supported this fun and healthy event.
