Thank you to all who came out to our Nature Night last Thursday! From firetrucks to snakes and lizards, dogs and sheep - it was an amazing night, and was all made special by your attendance.
Bernardo Backyards - We were able to pull together an incredible display assembled from our generous neighborhood gardeners with over 75 different types of produce and flowers showcased from Bernardo’s Backyards! From samples, to take-aways, it was an impressive collection. Thank you for sharing with our students and their families at Nature Night!

Come join us in celebrating the amazing artists, musicians, and performers across all EUSD schools this Saturday, May 2nd, at our 13th Annual smART Festival, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the California Center for the Arts at 340 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido 92025. Student art will be showcased in the Center Museum, and hands-on art activities in the Sculpture Courtyard, as well as, performances in the Center Theatre. It is a FREE event and open to the public. See you there!

Please review these Test Anxiety Tips with your 3rd-5th graders. We want students to "Show what you know" and "Not stress over the test!" Good luck everyone!
1. Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep.
2. Make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast.
3. Have your child dress comfortably.
4. Try to make the morning routine non-stressful.
5. Arrive on time.
6. Encourage them to try their best.

Thursday - April 30, 2026, 5:30 to 7:30pm in the Bernardo MPR and Blacktop. We will have educational booths and food trucks (for purchase). Can't wait to see you all there!

4th/5th: 11:10-11:50 (4th on grass closer to the bike rack/5th on grass closer to MPR)
2nd/3rd: 11:50-12:30 (2nd on grass closer to the bike rack/3rd on grass closer to MPR)
K/1st: 12:30-1:10 (Kindergarten on grass closer to the bike rack/1st on grass closer to MPR)
TK: 12:40-1:20 (TK playground area)
Teachers will walk the students out and wait with them until your child finds you.
Families are welcome to bring chairs, shade umbrellas, easy-ups, or blankets and join your child during their regular scheduled lunch time on the front grassy area. Please let your student know if you will bring them your own food, or your child may get a free lunch from the cafeteria.
If you cannot attend Family Lunch Day for any reason, please let your child's teacher know ahead of time. Students whose parents cannot make it will sit with a friend (or possibly Mrs. Wzreski) to ensure that nobody is excluded from the fun.
Also, our Book Fair will be open during the event where you may accompany your student during their lunch time or they may go to the playground if they are done with their lunch. Unfortunately, parents will not be allowed to join students on the playground since we are not screening visitors for this event. We can't wait to see you all!

Bernardo’s Virtual Talent Show Deadline has been EXTENDED until April 30th! We are so excited to see who will participate! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their unique talents for our special video that we'll show everyone at the end of May.
