Hey Families, because September is Attendance Awareness Month, we have a District-wide "Every Day Counts" Poster Contest happening right now! Ask your child about it!
Submission deadline for the "Every Day Counts Poster Contest" is this Friday, September 26th
Here are the rules:
Escondido Union School District - Bernardo Elementary is calling on all students to enter our 2nd Annual Attendance Awareness Poster Contest.
Students are invited to submit a poster that highlights why “EVERY DAY COUNTS”. This is an opportunity for students to share their views on why they feel attendance is important.
*The top three posters submitted will have lunch with the Principal, Mrs. Wzreski.
*Individualized stickers of the top poster design from each school will be created
*The top poster submitted from each school site will be entered in a district-wide contest.
The top poster from all sites will be posted on the district attendance webpage!
Poster Theme: EVERY DAY COUNTS
Eligibility & Criteria - All students in EUSD are eligible to participate. Posters will be judged on how well they address the theme, the quality of the design and student creativity. The design must have an original student drawing.
To enter the contest follow the steps below.
Overall message that communicates the importance of school attendance
Poster size must be 8.5” x 11” or 11” x 17”.
Must include the attendance theme “EVERY DAY COUNTS”.
All artwork must be the student's own work.
Student's full name, grade & school must be written on the back of the poster.
Each school site selects one poster to submit to the district office.
Submissions must be received at the Bernardo office no later than 10/1/2025.
Top poster winner district-wide will be announced October 14, 2025.
