Escondido Union School District (EUSD) offers preschool to children through the State Preschool Program (CSPP) and also through the San Diego Quality Preschool Initiative (SDQPI). Our preschool programs are an integral part of EUSD’s efforts to ensure children have the foundational skills to be successful in kindergarten and throughout their entire school experience. State preschool programs are subsidized programs for low income families. SDQPI programs are free of charge to families who qualify and meet certain guidelines. Priority is given to children that turn 4 years old by December 1st. Three year old children may be enrolled on or after their third birth day. Children must reside in the city of Escondido.

Preschool is offered at seven school sites in Escondido (Central, Glen View, Juniper, Lincoln, Oak Hill, Pioneer and Rose).

Afternoon session: 11:45 – 2:45
