Resources, Ideas, and Training to Become a Highly Effective User of MAP Testing.

The Measures of Academic Performance (MAP) is a computerized test designed by The Northwest Evaluation Service.  EUSD’s students take the MAP test three times per year in the Fall, Winter and Spring.  Students in grades 2-8 take 3 tests: Reading, Language and Math.  Kindergarten and 1st grade students take the Primary MAP Test, which covers Reading and Math.

Teachers use the MAP Test results to identify areas of strengths and challenges for their students, and design their instruction accordingly.  Results are also used to monitor progress over time, as well as compare scores to other students across the country.
